I’m sitting in the dark with my partner asleep behind me. It’s 9pm, I’ve been to the gym, had a full day at ‘work’, cooked and eaten dinner and I’m just starting my second job. It’s much easier than the first because it’s my passion, but passion doesn’t pay the bills….yet.
In all truth, this is my first blog post and I have no idea what the name of my blog will even be yet… I’m just going through the motions in the hope it will come soon.
By the time you read this, I will have more of my sh*t together… I promise.
So why start writing before I have a website?
I recently went to a conference in Sydney with several inspiring, international speakers, ending with a powerful speech by Tony Robbins.*
He suggested to take massive action, to write a letter to myself, then a 2nd and 3rd directed to two people that will help keep me accountable.
Then I realised… nothing will keep me more accountable than my future following.
My mind is set, my heart is pure and my focus is my passion.
My passion, to be clear, is interior design yet there is something that is missing, something that is overlooked in the vast majority of design these days yet so key to our future.
I have a holistic approach to interior design, putting pieces of the puzzle together, to build a beautiful room that contributes to the healthy lifestyle we strive for today whilst helping the environment and the sustainability of Australia at the same time.
I’m learning every day
I by no means am saying I know everything, I’m only human but I do know a lot more than most and I know the information is worth sharing. With this blog I hope to enlighten and inspire you, to make choices big and small that will help you, your family and the earth by choosing health in all aspects of your life.
My promise to you
No bullsh*t, I will give you everything I know and continue to learn in the simplest form I can. I will help you break down the answers so you can choose how you would like to apply the information in your own life. The journey to another level of health will be fun and we can travel through together, post by post.
No judgement – no conditions – no pressure
*For those that are interested in going to conferences for business or self motivation, I highly recommend the National Achievers Congress. NAC 2017 was in Sydney and only $49 or something and we had THE Tony Robbins on stage! Must have been the cheapest ticket for Tony Robbins – people pay thousands to see him, so if you get the opportunity and are interested – please just do it, you will not be disappointed.
